  Alexander Tao

Founder of China's Police Combat Method, Jing Quan Dao
Master Zhongxian (Alex) Tao is the founder of Jing Quan Dao, and is a world record holder in the art of one-finger zen.  He has earned grand champion titles in both Chinese sanshou and qigong.  He is registered as a 7th-duan (level) master in China and is a former vice-chief instructor of the Shaolin Kungfu monks.
Alex began practicing martial arts at the age of eight, learning Shaolin, Wudang, and Liangshan martial arts.  He represented the Shaolin Temple Kungfu monk’s demonstration groups, visiting more than twenty countries to expand Chinese martial arts.  After twenty years of training, ten years of concentrated research, and hundreds of experiments, he founded Jing Quan Dao in 1995, its basis being the combination of unique sanshou fighting techniques and qigong specialty.  He was awarded the honor of “Chinese Martial Arts Extraordinary innovator”, and the “outstanding talent individual” honor in 1998.  His instructional demonstration video, Jing QuanDao Combat Fighting, earned high accolades.
